Welcome to KI Science Park’s business community! Membership is the key to this premier network of innovators, entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors, researchers, students, and more—all with a passion for life science, health, and innovation. Karolinska Institutet, along with its researchers and students, forms a vital part of the community.
Through membership, you and your employees gain access to a wide range of activities, both formal and informal, to grow networks, meet peers, and foster professional development.
A Working Lab, a co-woring place for life science startups and small businesses, located in the Innomeidum building on Campus Solna, is our main partner for events and activities.
We are active in Hagastaden (Stockholm/Solna), and membership is open to Life Science companies and organizations. More about benefits and fee structure below.

We offer monthly events for the member company’s employees, such as KI Science Park Business Breakfast, after works, lunch meetings, dedicated networks such as CEO lunches, We also arrange yearly recurring social events, such as KI Science Park Summer BBQ and Winter Mingle.
Member exclusive networks
CEO & Business Leader Lunch, a monthly networking event that combines lunch with influential minds.
The Lab Network, for R&D intensive companies to share knowledge and expertise.
2. Newsletter & Invitations
A monthly “Community Update” to keep our members updated on upcoming community activities and events. Sign up to our event list to receive invitations. Events are also found on our web: kisciencepark.se/calendar
3. Context & Community
Use: “Member of Karolinska Institutet Science Park” or “Member of KI Science Park” in your external communication. On your website, in presentations etc.
Include Karolinska Institutet Science Park in you company’s address to show your affiliation to Karolinska Institutet Science Park.

4. Visibility & Promotion
Get visibility on KI Science Park’s website with a link to your own company website. Your company will get promoted via KI Science Park’s presentations, website, social channels, newsletter, external meetings, for investors, promotions agencies and more.
5. Engage in Development & Innovation
Make your voice heard. Get invited to participate in ecosystem and community development activities such as workshops, panels, and roundtable discussions.
Book an introduction to Karolinska Institutet’s innovation system and KI Science Park, to open channels for business and collaboration with academia and the public sector.
Fee structure and service fee 2025
The fee is paid annually and is calculated based on the “Price Base Amount” (PBA, “prisbasbelopp”, governmental index amount based on the consumer price index) in the preceding year. There are three fee levels depending on company size, see below.
Discount –The Service fee is subsidized by 20% for all member companies that are also tenants of Akademiska Hus.
Stand Out with a Partner Membership –Take your engagement to the next level. As a partner member, you gain additional visibility, opportunities to co-create activities, and a stronger voice in shaping our initiatives. The partner level fee, comes with additional benefits, e.g. more visibility (acknowledgement and logo on the KI Science Park’s website, roll-ups and slide-decks) participation in program committees to discuss future topics and speakers, etc. All companies can switch up to the partner level.
