Welcome to Science After Work – an informal evening where research meets business, hosted by KI Science Park in collaboration with A Working Lab, Medtechlabs, and the Medical Devices Section at Apotekarsocieteten.

This session brings together researchers and companies from the local ecosystem to explore emerging topics in Medtech, exchange perspectives, and gain new insights beyond disciplinary boundaries.

Our guest speakers this evening  are both research leaders at Medtechlabs and they will share insights from the research frontier, followed by open discussion.

Speakers 

Mats Persson, assistant professor at the Department of Physics, KTH, and affiliated with Medtechlab. He is developing the next generation of CT detector technology to use in clinical practice.

Peder Olofsson, Program Director Bioelectronic Medicine at Medtechlabs, and Head of Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Department of Medicine at Karolinska Institutet. His research focuses on the area of bioelectronic medicine and vagus nerve stimulation, aiming to reduce harmful inflammation.
